What are the Requirements for a School-Parent Compact?

In accordance with NCLB Public Law 107-110 Section 1118

  • Each school served under Title 1 shall jointly develop a compact between the school, parents and students that reflects the needs of the school.
  • The compact should address how each of the parties will take part in improving academic achievement.
  • Each compact must plan a means to which the school and parents will work in partnership to help children achieve state standards.
